We are going to look at the seed and the womb.
The seed is the dreams that we want to accomplish in life.
The womb is where that dream grows until it is birthed into existence.
It is where the seed is nourished and protected from harm and premature birth.
We sometimes here the words, "God is an on time God". I'm sure some of us have experience situations in our lives where certain things seems to happen just in the nick of time.
Well God IS on time and his timing is perfect.
However, our dreams may not always be fulfilled when we want.
And we don't always know exactly what will birth, just like parents don't always know whether they are having a boy or a girl. But we know that something is about to give birth.
And that is because we don't always know what God specific plans are for us, but we do know that his plan is a great one.
But most times we know what our wishes and desires are! So we have to make sure that our desires line up with the desire that God has for our lives.
We then have to be able to identify the seed in our life that we want to grow.
I planted a citrus tree in our back yard from a seed. It took 2 years for that seed to sprout and become a little plant. The only problem is, after the seed sprouted the label came out of the pot and I forgot whether I planted an orange seed or a grapefriuit seed.
Now the tree is about 5 feet tall and I still don’t know what it is, I will have to wait till the tree produce fruit, and I pray it will, because I didn’t graph it with another tree.
But say I graph it, nourish it, water it and take care of it. And I do everything I’m suppose to do to yield a fruit.
But if that tree is a grapefruit tree and I speak to it and say, "Give Me An Orange".
It don’t have to produce an orange.
Now I just brought a lime tree that was labeled.
I know what it is. And I know what it will produce!
But sometimes the seeds that we plant are challenged. The enemy will try to root it up.
But if it is planted on a solid ground, a good foundation. It will be difficult for the enemy to uproot it.
When I pull weeds from my garden, I think it is gone, dead, finished. But even weeds have seeds. And believe it or not even weeds have flowers. And they can fool us if we can't discern between the two.
Ex. I sent one of our sons outside to pull weeds from the yard. I happen to go outside and I looked in the pile of weeds and found one of my little plants that I was trying to grow in the pile. He said he thought it was a weed. You see he have pulled weeds and discovered that even weeds have flowers. But he did not know enough about PLANTS to know the difference.
The turtle is one of the slowest animal there is. He has a shell that protects him. And usually when a turtle has his head in his shell. That is a sign of fear. It is only when a turtle sticks his neck out that he is going somewhere. No matter how slow the process is, he is going somewhere.
So sometimes we have to stick our necks out. To go somewhere. Of course with Godly wisdom. It’s a step of faith.
And we have to be focus. We have to set our eyes on the prize of the mark of a higher calling. The scripture says to set your eyes. Our eyes are the organ of focus. And our spiritual eyes should be focused as well. The Holy Spirit is our spiritual eyes and ears.
So being in tune with the Holy Spirit is beneficial to staying on track and staying focus.
I like to do creative things. But sometimes I don’t start what I finish. I have sewing projects, wood projects, writing projects. And Deacon Micheal will tell you, I always have some type of project going on around the house. But we have to stay focused when doing any project. And finish what we start. Phil 1:6 says, Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
And when you are focused, there are some things you cannot reveal to others.
Sometimes the people closest to you, are the ones who will try to discourage you.
You know why? Because these are the people that have seen all your failures. They have seen you at your best and they have seen you at your worst. They have seen all the money you have spent on a pursuit, and they have seen all the times you didn’t live up to your potential.
Let’s face, some of us have done some crazy things. So they “Know” you.
But know one knows you like yourself.
And we have to get to the point where we see ourselves as God sees us. We have to stop looking at the mirror. We have to look in the mirror sometimes. But lately everytime
I look in the mirror, I see a bunch of gray hairs. And I’m saying be thou removed and restored.
So sometimes yes we have to stop looking in the mirror. Because the mirror only sees the WOMB. The mirror can’t see the SEED. Our true seed begins when we accept the Lord Jesus as our personal saviour. He is the seed the lives within us.
And all we have to do is look at the death, burial and RESSURECTION of the Lord Jesus Christ. And allow His seed to resurrect in our lives.
Do you know that when you plant a seed in the ground, it goes dormant first? Yes the outer layer of that seed dies as the core of the seed breaks through. The sprouting is within that dead covering of the seed.
It may look like our seed or dream has died. But within each of us is a seed that is living and upon the right season, will produce fruit.
Scripture-- the spirit the raised Jesus from the dead shall quicken our mortal bodies through Christ Jesus.
I don’t care how many times we have fail, and how many times we have fallen flat on our back. God can resurrect us back. And we can again start from where we left off.
God can resurect our dreams.
Keep your dream alive.
We have only scratched the surface of our destiny So let’s keep our dreams alive
by continuing to water them daily.
Do something daily that will allow your dream to grow!
